Piaget had a lot to unveil at this year’s edition of Watches & Wonders in Geneva. From its jewelry watches to the Altiplano Ultimate Concept, the Maison has immersed us in a world filled with watchmaking and jewelry expertise. Many were the novelties that stole our hearts and below are some that are definitely worth mentioning.
One among the three Swinging Sautoir pieces Piaget presented, this one sees a twisted gold chain embracing a new, softly rounded trapeze case as a nod to the shape of the cases from the original 1969 collection. Enhancing its beauty is a second diamond-set chain anchored by a kaleidoscopic white opal cabochon of 11.68 carats.
The High Jewelry Aura timepiece witnesses a seamless integration of its bracelet and case entirely paved with baguette-cut gems. Beautiful both in and out, at its heart beats an ultra-thin movement, the Piaget Manufacture Ultra-thin manual winding 40P, while beautiful hues of rubies, pink sapphires and diamonds makes it dazzling from the exterior.
