In honor of Karl Lagerfeld, Chloé took some dazzling initiatives. In addition to the Lagerfeld-themed Met Gala 2023 during which celebs wore his designs – like the actress Maude Apatow, Chloé’s guest who dazzled in a black column dress with the reinterpreted arrow – the House held a moving exhibition that graced the world with its creativity. However, what took our breath more than anything else was the House’s festive 2023 collection. For this season, Chloé looked to its rich archives taking inspiration from an iconic Fall/Winter 1983 Chloé design by the late Karl Lagerfeld, the Maison’s former Creative Director, which sees a rhinestone-studded arrow embroidered across a black jersey dress. Animated by a modern twist on the shimmering arrow motif and the embellished guitar – the collection’s second key motif, many were the details to admire in this collection.
