On the iconic Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Saint Laurent opened its largest flagship store. Through this artistic boutique, Anthony Vaccarello introduced an entirely new design concept that aims to instill a sense of discovery at one of the world’s most emblematic addresses, while celebrating the essence of the original architectural elements. Among the special touches that stand out at the place are definitely the double-height foyer featuring a neon light sculpture by artist Cerith Wyn Evans and commissioned by Saint Laurent, a variety of sensuous surfaces and curving staircases in black-lacquered wood, a serene private garden accessible to clients, and several Donald Judd furniture pieces displayed throughout.
As for the House’s offerings, nothing will be missing – from men’s and women’s ready-to-wear to handbags, shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry, in addition to a special assortment of items that has been curated for the space, reflecting its elevated nature. While all these marvels fill the striking, luminous interior that features a series of unique spaces that flow naturally and create an engaging experience for clients, the equally charming restored Haussmannian façade of the building announces the arrival of Saint Laurent’s latest interpretation of modern luxury.
