In an exclusive event on the importance of sustainable fashion held at THAT Concept Store, Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, a leader in lifestyle retail across the GCC, revealed that more than 50% of UAE shoppers are willing to pay a premium for sustainable products. Themed “Why Sustainable Fashion Matters”, the event included a panel session that explored the critical intersection of fashion, sustainability, and climate action with Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle CEO, Fahed Ghanim, together with representatives from Salad, KGK Diamonds & Jewellery, and Istituto Marangoni. The occasion also marked Majid Al Futtaim Group's associate partnership with COP28, this year's annual climate change conference held in Dubai.

Many were the discussed subjects mainly highlighting the same main idea like the shifting landscape in consumer behavior to support sustainable practices in lifestyle retail. And to further support consciously crafted fashion, jewelry and homeware, THAT Concept Store launched a Sustainably Focused Edit – a collection of more than 50 sustainably focused brands to encourage conscious consumption.
