After being presented in Los Angeles, CHANEL’s Cruise 2023-2024 collection makes a stopover in Shenzhen, in south-east mainland China. In a new setting at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre, the collection designed by Virginie Viard was presented once again amidst a black and white décor featuring a big scoreboard suspended from the center of the set recalling the first show held at the legendary Paramount film studios.

Far from being an ordinary show, a giant screen showing a black-and-white film by Inez & Vinoodh took things to the next level, as the skyline of Shenzhen and the palm trees of Los Angeles formed the perfect backdrop to images of actress and CHANEL ambassador Alma Jodorowsky as well as the models Nora Attal, Huijia Chen, Fanny François, Angelina Kendall, Mahany Pery and Qun Ye.

In this cinematic atmosphere, the collection revealed the multiple facets of its colorful, joyful and elegant universe. Embroidered swimsuits, rhinestone mini shorts, 1960s-style suits, casual bathrobes and pyjamas, wrap jackets and evening dresses, worn with 1930s shoes or disco platform sandals trotted down the runway – evoking every value that CHANEL has ever cherished… and more!
