The Ballon d’Or® is an annual trophy awarded to the best woman and man players in professional football of the season. The 2023 ceremony will be held at the Théâtre de Chatelet in Paris on 30 October and the trophies will be presented in two Trophy Trunks specially designed to hold the celebrated football-shaped awards by Louis Vuitton, as part of a partnership with France Football and with the support of Amaury Media. 

We’re talking about two trunks hand-crafted by experienced Louis Vuitton artisans in the Maison’s historic workshops and covered in legendary Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas. Each Trunk has two folding front panels that feature a painted V – for “Victory” and “Vuitton” – in gold, for the first time on a Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk, to match the color of the Ballon d’Or® itself.
