The Baignoire watch has been at the heart of Cartier’s emblematic watchmaking style since day one and remained true to itself, appearing in a number of variations. This iconic watch takes on an infinite number of possible forms, each time resembling only itself. Today, we’re witnessing the reveal of new transformations displayed with artist Lou Doillon, who joined the community of Parisian women who care about elegance as much as anything else, but only with freedom and spirit.

The collection of new marvels proves that watches are no longer simply instruments for measuring time, or ornaments because, like the Panthère de Cartier watch, the Baignoire is now a jewelry watch par excellence. With a new ratio of proportions, the balance is reversed as the Baignoire is both miniaturized and amplified. Its Roman numerals and curved crystal engulf it with a timelessness exuding from both new versions. The first one celebrates pure elegance with a “Less is More” approach, while with the second one, the watch’s emblematic oval is transformed into a bangle. However, since this watch is part of Cartier’s design culture no matter the attires it changes, it can be endlessly combined with other iconic Cartier creations.
