Finally, CELINE’s Summer Plein Soleil collection lands at the emblematic Harrods in London, where an exclusive assortment will be showcased in a pop-up for the fashion house until June 14. Inspired by the Spring-Summer 2023 La Collection de Saint Tropez collection, this capsule echoes the spirit of the French Riviera and the sophisticated nonchalance of Saint-Germain-des-Prés – two places dear to Hedi Slimane.

The seaside meets the city in a selection of creations ornamented with handcrafted details, ranging from clothing to bags. Interpretations of the iconic Triomphe crafted in Raffia, wicker, Japanese indigo and striped fabric exude freshness, while a Saharienne in cognac suede and a chasseur jacket in light Bouclette cotton embody the spirit of Saint Tropez. For a total CELINE look, the designer presents a handmade crochet cardigan jacket paired with a hand-woven A-line skirt. Summer nights were clearly on his mind as well, adding to this wardrobe a loose top covered with sequin embroidery paired with shorts, and a smoked crop top and a mini skirt that could be worn together or separately. For a perfect day at the beach, a bikini swimwear set is topped with an oversized striped poplin shirt.
