The Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection tells different stories, but they all have the same ending: an addition to our wardrobe. Through this collection, Creative Director Matthieu Blazy ended his ‘Italia’ trilogy of shows as he continues to celebrate and conflate the past, present and future of the country with craft in motion, thus techniques, motifs, characters and creatures from the past travel through space and time to speak to the present and the future. In this journey, many were the details to keep an eye for in both men’s and women’s looks, as the House definitely didn’t miss a chance to pay attention even to the smallest ones.
Greens, reds, and yellows mainly added an evident touch of vivacity to the collection popping here and there completing an otherwise dimmed color palette. As for the accessories, they took the looks to new heights of amazingness not only with the creativity they reflect but with the unparalleled touch of elegance they add as well, especially women’s thigh-high boots that made a remarkable appearance during the show.
