A refined and contemporary elegance set the tone to Tod’s Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear, in a collection dotted with a strong identity that brings together high-quality traditional craftsmanship, clean lines, and the softness of precious materials. Through Creative Director Walter Chiapponi’s take on design, iconic pieces got a modern makeover that makes them essential in every woman’s wardrobe come next winter.

The peacoat was supplied with leather-covered buttons reminiscent of Tod’s iconic pebbles, and the parka was enriched with couture details. Short narrow-waisted bomber jackets came either in nappa leather or in knit with shearling details, and padded jackets in fabric or leather took an elegant shape true to the brand’s values. As for the pinstriped masculine suits, they featured jackets with prominent shoulders and without lapels worn with structured shirts. Soft and oversized floor-sweeping coats also took the runway, before an extreme ambiance of femininity prevailed with the appearance of knitwear pieces and knit dresses.

Fabric combinations set the collection apart, as the wools and cottons of sportswear were combined with the softest and most precious leathers – think a zip-up polo shirt enriched with leather details. As for the color palette, the Tod’s woman will be wearing warm tones of camel, brown, and cream, and why not a monochromatic black-and-white look from time to time?
