Before researching this, I was convinced that the most followed person on Instagram would be Kim Kardashian – but I was wrong. The reality TV star might have 39.2 million followers, but she only made second place. So who could it be? Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift, perhaps? Wrong again. The pop singers respectively have 33.1 million and 37.7 million followers. 

So who made it to the top?  

Ladies and gentlemen, the Instagram queen is none other than Queen B herself: Beyoncé. With her 40.1 million followers, the former Destiny’s Child member is topping the charts and leading the race. All Hail the Queen.
