British fashion illustrator David Downton –who famously worked for Vogue– took it upon himself to draw portraits of the world’s most stylish women and assembled them inside this stunning hardcover.

With a foreword by French fashion designer Christian Lacroix and an afterword by American burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, this book beautifully highlights the glamour of over 150 women from the worlds of film, fashion and style.  

Downton’s elegant illustrations are accompanied by intriguing anecdotes and specially commissioned photographs, which document the allure of his portraits.
