The House of Richard Mille chose to celebrate The Richard Mille Art Prize and the Art Here 2021 exhibition by unveiling the inaugural edition of the Richard Mille Artbook series: Art in the Gulf. This limited-edition release is like a pathway leading to the Gulf’s artistic world where we explore the region’s thriving art scene, the depth, diversity and mastery of artists, collectors and visionaries across the GCC through the lens of contemporary art. This allows us to deepen the bond between the visual and horological arts that Richard Mille considers essential to the experience of luxury.

Mind-blowing for every collector, this one-of-a-kind book tells its stories in both Arabic and English, individually looking at artistic communities of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar from the early 20th century to their present-day constructs. As a result, we’re offered an in-depth survey of artistic accomplishments through a focused spotlight on the region’s most prominent emerging, mid-career and established contemporary artists.
