Just like the anthurium flower that looks like an object of design and is treated as such, Loewe’s Spring-Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection focuses on the line, color and shape with utmost precision. Based on this forward thinking, the silhouettes came reduced, tightened or redesigned to reflect a neat shape.
The short dresses were shrunken – whether in an enameled metal version covered in a flowery pattern or in a twistedly compact knit one. Leather and hunting jackets followed the same steps and were almost reduced to miniatures. As for the t-shirts, shirts and chinos – which are known for their normality, they came twisted, padded and elongated. And as draping reached its peak, light casted its charm on the pieces and played with textures.
Accessories were the cherry on the top of the cake. To complete this design statement, spike-heeled pumps, flats, pumped-up rubber pumps, pumps swarming in deflated balloons, as well as the Puffer Goya bag and the new Paseo bag were revealed.
