As of last week, the most liked photograph on Instagram –which was posted 6 weeks ago and has since earned over 2.8 million likes– was posted by supermodel Kendall Jenner.

The snap features the American beauty peacefully lying on the floor in a white embroidered dress with her hair shaped in hearts.

Prior to this, the most liked picture was actually one of Kim Kardashian’s (Kendall’s sister), which starred her and Kanye West on their wedding day in front of a floral mural. While the photograph had gained a whopping 2.4 million likes – it wasn’t enough to beat Miss Jenner’s.

Kendall actually announced the news on Twitter by saying, "Take that Kimye!"
