The first edition of OUD Fashion Talks was launched in Kuwait in partnership with Tamdeen group, Zain Kuwait, Gulf Bank, and Ali Alghanim & Sons at Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Center (JACC). It aims to spark a conversation about important fashion topics and the creative industry, like the growth of sustainable fashion. As a step to initiate that, and in celebration of this launch, a Gala dinner was held at the center accompanied by an exhibition showcasing designs of local fashion designers who have adopted the sustainability mission, a series of inspiring speeches, amazing food, and live music.

On the next day, continuing the official launch celebrations, a series of panel discussions with experts and power players who took part in shaping the fashion scene in Kuwait and the region took place to shed the light more and more on sustainability and local Kuwaiti fashion designers.
