For her brand’s winter 2022 collection, Stella McCartney celebrated Frank Stella, one of the most important artists of his generation, thus its name “Stella by Stella”. His art was reflected overtly and subtly through evening dresses, graphic prints, animal-free leather and velvet textures, menswear-inspired jacquard wool coats, and a lot more. The collection was also distinguished by a variety of stripes casting their charm on different creations making them as alive as ever, and a dash of sensuality unveiled in the form of red double satin dresses with asymmetric bust lines, long skirts revealing the knee with each step and other body sculpting shapes. And with a rich color palette accentuated with vivid hues and a keen attention to the smallest details, all the pieces came together ever-so-perfectly.
