With bright light effects, dazzling artworks and a charmingly immersive setting, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection was displayed in the heart of Milan’s Piazza Duomo. The new men’s and women’s accessories and ready-to-wear collection focuses on the informal. It’s the House’s way to demonstrate that clothes that are categorically “casual” can be made, chosen and worn with as much care, discernment, craft and irony as any evening gown or tuxedo in a spirit of liberated precision and fluid expression.

Highlighted with codes shared between the genders, the collection offers women pieces featuring dramatic ruffles – an evening wear staple – traditional evening wear shapes and versatile garments wearable in multiple ways, all unconventionally reinterpreted. As for the result, it was a myriad of supple strips, a simple knit bodysuit, a trench with a wrap belt and wrap scarf, and many more wonders.

Men also had their share of the fashionable eruption with parkas, pullovers, sweatshirts and constructed jackets with inserted gilets among many other dazzling designs.
