When designing the Spring-Summer 2022 Haute Couture collection, Georges Azzi and Assaad Osta chose to celebrate the singularity of a color, a texture, a silhouette that never found its place in a somehow uniform set. Too rebellious or too particular, some of the designs are sufficient by themselves and that’s the case of every marvel in this collection. And with the boldness of their bright colors, they perfectly embody the refreshing freedom reigning supreme as the main vibe of this release.
Balloon sleeves, blooming tulles, waves and folds of crepe, hand-made fabric petals and fine embroidery of pearls and crystals… these are not simply the details shaping the Haute Couture marvels, nor some random savoir-faire moves, these are the interpretations of every source of inspiration that led to their creation. From the Japanese-inspired Sèvre vase to an evening at the opera on the shores of Lake Constance and a high tea at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, we can’t wait to hear the full stories!
