Water has been one of the natural elements that constituted a major source of inspiration for Chaumet for more than two centuries. Now that the House released its new High Jewelry capsule “Déferlante”, we witness once again the great impact of this special element that was reinterpreted to meet the demands of the contemporary woman. The artisans of the "12 Vendôme" workshop took cascades, waterfalls, drops, waves, stalactites and other forms of water as their main tools and animated tiaras, hair ornaments, brooches and combs in the most amazing way. We’re talking about 8 unique creations that pay tribute to life and movement and shed the light on Chaumet signatures, from the tiara to the transformable jewel.   

As we all know, a Chaumet collection wouldn’t be complete without a tiara, and the Déferlante tiara conveys extreme complexity worthy of the art of the line at which the Maison excels. Water continues flowing to cast its charm on a three-row necklace with a superb sense of fluidity, on an asymmetrical ring that can be worn with or without its wave motif – in the spirit of a solitaire, on a brooch with seven diamonds that create a beautiful paradox, and on glittering earrings that accentuate the play of light created by the different positions and sizes of their diamonds.
