Starting with the spotlight of the year, the manufacture reinterpreted elements from the 1969 DEFY A3642 in a modern context and paired them with the performance of its latest generation of El Primero movement to launch a novelty set to become a staple model in its history – DEFY Skyline. Up to the pace of an ever-fast-moving world, this timepiece stands out by its sleek and evocative design. It features central hour and minute hands and a date window at 3 o’clock set on a geometrically structured and whimsically celestial dial. At 9 o’clock, a counter with a constantly running 1/10th of a second hand makes steady jumps to indicate the precision of the 5Hz movement.
The DEFY Extreme Carbon is driven by the world’s fastest and most precise automatic chronograph movement, truly embodying Zenith’s spirit of innovation and highlighting the line’s ruggedness and exceptional performance. And to make the timepiece more special, its sporty carbon fibre execution is inspired by the world’s first off-road electric rally racing championship, of which the Manufacture is the Official Timekeeper and Founding Partner.
Another expression of Zenith’s notion of high-frequency precision is the DEFY 21 Chroma and this time, it’s through light and colors that it comes alive. A matte-finished white ceramic case showcases a refracted window spread evenly across the open dial and movement, perfectly transitioning between the colors of the entire spectrum.
