Hedi Slimane elegantly reconnected in a French Spirit of literature and poetry with his favorite themes – including the notion of identity beyond gender, the essence of youth and the fragility of a state suspended somewhere between childhood and adulthood – that have always existed in CELINE. The result was an amazing addition to the House’s Haute Parfumerie collection, perfect for day use. Rimbaud, which takes on a doubly symbolic and personal dimension, is inspired by an episode from Arthur Rimbaud’s own adolescence and his image that seemed to be one of eternal and universal youth.

As for the distinguished composition, two notes contrast at its heart; the lavender whose aromatic freshness is traditionally used in men’s scents and the roots of the iris, known in perfumery as orris, usually with more feminine powdery accents. So, it can definitely be added to the powdery theme that connects all of the creations in this Haute Parfumerie collection.
