For his collection, Georges Chakra found inspiration in the Romanesque era, back when his muse wore couture creations accentuated with symmetry, structure and vigor. She was heroic and strong, leading him to rediscover the code of Couture. The result was a collection that stands out by its realism.

Luxury was expressed through refined fabrics, organza, ethereal raffia and chiffon, sleek satin and crepe, let alone supple velvet. And while pleats exuded lightness, capes and trains clearly made it on the list of this season’s trends. As for the color palette, it consisted of striking primary colors of vibrant red, midnight blue, vivid black and halos of white – further enhancing the audacity of the woman who wears them.

Ending this series of story-telling dresses is a bridal gown that let a blend of pure white shantung, symmetrical crystals and a cape nouveau cascading from the shoulders in its white tulle and satin ribbons define who the Georges Chakra bride is.
