Somewhere between fantasy and reality, Stella McCartney’s Fall/Winter 2021-2022 ready-to-wear collection addresses the women who are ready for progress and yearning to dress up and go out. Heritage meets glamour and sport to introduce a new form of extravagance and opulence.
This collection, which is 77% made with sustainable materials, unveiled its spirit through clashing prints, volume, silhouette and material coming together in a playful and unexpected way, as well as a lively palette of aqua, sunshine yellow, spring green and rich purple paired down with neutral hues. Timeless staples completed statement partywear pieces to redefine the dual spirit of glamour and utility, and made us question the concept of the everyday eccentricity and extravagance.
Also bringing conscience to the fashion industry were the vegan and cruelty-free bags, as well as the Chelsea duck boots crafted with solvent-free, biodegradable sole and the Groove over-the-knee boot featuring a duck toe and a block heel crafted from recycled ABS plugs – to name a few.
Well, if we’re to describe Stella’s first venture into digital apparel, we can’t but praise its success!
