For the first time in ALAÏA’s history, last week in Dubai we witnessed an artistic dance performance with a subliminal message related to the House’s latest Editions wardrobe, the SS21. It was performed by the talented Hajiba Fahmy and live streamed from the cultural center La Gaité Lyrique, which is dedicated to digital arts. The set had its own share of magic as it combined giant screens, light projections and 3D mappings. This exclusive technical set shed the lights on the pieces’ details, ALAÏA’s craftsmanship and the purity of the cuts.

The collection was inspired from the archives of the years between 1981 and 2017 as a tribute to the eternal innovative spirit of the House’s creator. Plus, during the event as well, three Editions looks were revealed on mannequins and we got the chance to have a first look on the new Corset handbags.
